Who We Are

ONYX OFX is a professional AI matte extraction plugin for Nuke, DaVinci Resolve, Fusion, Flame and Natron. Our website address is https://onyxofx.com.

What Data We Collect

Plugin Activation Data

When you activate your licence inside the plugin, we collect only: hardware fingerprint (CPU and motherboard identifiers, used solely for licence binding), activation timestamp, plugin version, and host application name (e.g. “Nuke”, “DaVinci Resolve”).

No project files, video content, frame data, or footage is ever collected, transmitted, or stored. This is a one-time HTTPS check during activation (port 443) — after that, the plugin operates fully offline, with no periodic checks or background data transmission.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card information. Pricing is displayed on the payment platform and may change without notice.

Cookies

We use cookies for session management and website performance. On partner pages we also set an affiliate cookie — see Affiliate Tracking below. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

Download Statistics

When you download the plugin, we record the country, the operating system you chose, the website you came from and the name of your network operator. These are aggregated counters only: your IP address is not stored, and nothing recorded here identifies you.

We use them to see which platforms are in demand and which channels bring people to the site. This counter uses no cookies, and it never blocks or delays a download.

Affiliate Tracking

A small number of pages on this website are dedicated partner pages (currently /gene/). On those pages only, we load Lemon Squeezy’s affiliate tracking script. It generates a browser fingerprint using a third-party library (FingerprintJS, loaded from openfpcdn.io), sends that fingerprint to Lemon Squeezy together with the partner’s referral code, and stores a cookie named ls_aff_ref so that a later purchase can be credited to that partner.

This exists solely so that partners are paid their commission. It carries no name, email address or purchase details, and it does not affect the price you pay. Blocking the script or refusing the cookie does not prevent you from buying, downloading or using the software. No affiliate tracking runs on any other page of this site.
